Condolences
I recently drove down Alton Avenue and thought of all the people we called neighbors as we grew up. I thought of your mom, your dad, your grandparents, my grandparents and began trying to remember who lived where on that special block. I (Pam) ran into your Mom and one of her sisters in recent years. As was your mom's demeanor, she really was more interested in gathering info from me to relay to the both of you than she was monopolizing the conversation. She will be missed by you -- but rest assured, her smile and welcome greeting will always be a very happy memory for me. The last page in the Alton Avenue Book of Life has been turned. We are all better for having been neighbors during that era. Your folks and grandparents offered so much to that story. I am sad but very grateful. A friend called to tell me of your mom's passing and was kind enough to send her obituary to me here in Florida. I deeply regret that Tim and I were unable to express our love and sympathy to you and your families in person. There were many "moms" on Alton Avenue who looked after each of us -- what a wonderful time to be a kid. I smile with a tear in my eye.

An ending of one chapter, and the beginning of a newer, more amazing one. Our thoughts and prayers are with friends and family. Love, Doug and Mary Beth Margason
I FIRST MET CONNIE ABOUT 14 YEARS AGO. WE OFTEN LAUGHED THAT WE HAD THE SAME LAST NAME. I LIKED HER FROM THE BEGINNING BECAUSE SHE ALWAYS SAID HOW SHE FELT. GOOD OR BAD. I ALWAYS ENJOYED SEEING HER MARELED AT HER TANACITY AT TIMES. SHE LOVED HER FAMILY AND HER HERITAGE. I WILL MISS SEEING HER.
Yia Yia there are far too many memories to list; the majority of them very funny memories. We somehow thought you'd be with us forever and really can't believe you are gone. We know grandpa was happy to see you and you were happy to see him! Thanks for all the wonderful memories. You're for in our hearts and we love you very much ~ XOXO
I'm lucky to have known this amazing women for 25 years. I've been trying to think of my favorite memory or story and have decided there are just too many to choose one. I laugh when I think of the time she cooked the Thanksgiving turkey in the lid instead of the roaster, how she flirted with every waiter and generally they flirted back, how on occasion she would laugh too hard and have an accident and so much more. Along with the laughter Connie was the most generous soul I've ever known. When she determined you needed something there was no changing her mind, she was buying it for you whether you liked it or not. Big things or little things she was a true, giver! I feel privileged to have had her in my life.
Please accept our deepest condolences on the passing of your very special and much loved family member. Please know that out thoughts and prayers are with you all during this time of grieving/celebrating the life of this wonderful woman.
