Phillis Weiser, 56, of Avon, IN passed away May 13, 2013 at home with her family and closest friend at her side. Born September 23, 1956 in Indianapolis, IN; she was preceded in death by her parents, Morris and Mary (Spurrier) Denton. She married Jerry D. Weiser on May 3, 1997. Mrs. Weiser worked at Acorn Distributors for 4 years, where she worked in accounting. She was an avid racing fan and attended many races with family and friends. She is survived by her husband of 16 years, Jerry; daughter, Lindsi Heaton; grandson, Ashton McGlothlin; brothers, Sam and Phil Denton; sisters, Alice J. Coddington-Hignite and Debbie Ramsey all of Indianapolis, IN. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 15 from 5 pm - 8 pm in Stevens Mortuary, 5520 W. 10th St., Indpls. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 16 at 11 am also at the mortuary. Interment will be in Lincoln Memory Gardens.
