A letter to Harold, my last letter to you was in 1972. I was one of your chicks. I was 16 and we wrote to each other when you were in the Army. I remember a trip to Fort Knox Ky. with our friends, Patty, Al, Theresa, Janet, Pat Roho, and me to see you and Steve Komlance on a weekend. All 7 of us in one car, Patty's 1968 Chevelle SS 4 speed. It;s been 3 weeks since your service, I was there. I met and seen some of your family and friends. I was so sad. Harold if I had only known you were Ill, I would have came and seen you. We could have reminiscence of all our times together in the summer of 1972. Just this St. Pattys day at the working Mans friend Tavern. Patty and I were just saying what happened to Harold, Phillip, Roho Hodges and others.I am glad to have run into you in 1995. I'll always remember that and I'll always have those good old memories and you in my heart. I will miss you and will be thinking about you. Your once upon a time chick Cindy Bulter RIP

What do I say - now if you were here with me you would just know what to say... You are my little brother and the words I just can't seem to find to tell you how much I miss you and my heart is so broken can't believe that you have left me so early. You were always so full of life - full opions and smart. Always question how could you be so smart and have so much to say all the time. Our last day together you had so many stories to tell me - I wish we could of had more time to share - time we will never get back. You have been a good brother and father to your children. Again you use to call me and tell me stories about the children when they were growing up. The best one was when the three of them had the cat in the bathroom and put hair mouse all over the cat and he got away from them and they all chased the cat out of the house..
I love you Harold to know that you are in no more pain helps me - miss you so much... "Will see you on the other side"
Your Sister
When I was little I used to hate when my mom would wash my hair. My dad never wanted to let my mom cut it so it was long tangled and unruly (always!) So one day my mom tried to wash my hair and I threw an absolute fit! I screamed and yelled and told her I was going to tell my Papa on her. I waited sitting in the front window of our house until my dad pulled into the driveway and ran up to him screaming "Papa! Papa" and gave him a big hug and told him how mean mom was being to me. He took me inside, sat me down on the counter, and gave me a piece of gum (which mom never let me have because I always got it in my hair!) Then he asked if he could wash my hair and I said yes and he tickled me and made me laugh the whole time. He was my hero, he still is.

Mac was a social democrat. He believed in the common man. He considered himself a citizen of the world. His favorite movie was "Reds". Diane Keaton was his favorite actress. He loved the writings Frederick Nietzsche. He loved to read the classics. He voted for Barrack Obama because he understood that the common man needs to count. Rest in Peace my friend.
