Condolences
Ms. Arber taught me in 4th and 6th grade at St. Michael. Maya Angelou said, "I've learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel." I can't remember everything she taught me, but I remember that she made me feel special, confident, smart and capable. She is forever a part of who I am, and I will be forever grateful.
We met Mrs Arber at St Michael School, she was a caring wonderful teacher to our three children. After the childeren left St Michael we stayed in touch with Eileen and many of the St Michael teachers, who are a very close knit group. I don't think we ever encountered Eileen when she was not smiling and upbeat in spite of her medical issues. She leaves a lasting memory in our minds of what a teacher and a loving, caring person is. Our deepest condolences to the family, we will keep you in our prayers and Eileen's memory in our hearts.

I will always remember how special Eileen made people feel. She had a special talent for truly listening when people needed to share their thoughts. Eileen was loved by everyone who met her. She will be missed by all those who knew her.

To Eileen's Family, Please accept our deepest condolences. Although she and I weren't related, we were often asked if we were, since we attended school together from first grade through graduation from high school. It was so nice to see her at our 50th high school reunion in Springfield in 2008. She was always a kind and special person. I also knew Tom in high school. He and Eileen were both good people.
