I am so sorry for the loss of your beautiful father and grandfather...I am keeping you in my prayers to God, that you will have peace in your heart and for God to hold you all in his arms... Love, Kathleen
We had many good meals with Howard & Martha at MCL. Sorry to hear of Howard's passing. He will be greatly missed. Prayers & Blessings to Martha and her family.
Martha, Debbie and Christy, my thoughts and prayers are with you. I'll always think of Howard and Martha as the very cool friends of my mom and dad, and how it was always great to run into them occasionally, especially at the Lafayette Square mall.
Sorry to hear of Howards passing. As a neighbor growing up across the street; I will miss him. MY Dad had passed just on January 17th 2013. I guess they are neighbors again. Shawn A Brennan and Family
Please know you and your families are in my thoughts and prayers.
Howard and I worked in the shop at Link-Belt for many, many years together. We both were involved in Union activities together for at least 15 years. When I went into management, I continued to meet with Howard across the "table". I had great respect for Howard and he continually stood up for the rights of his fellow workers. After he retired, Howard had a part-time job driving a parts truck for a local car dealership. My grandson took a job there also and was a co-driver. He was very young, did not know what he wanted out of life and could have headed for trouble. Howard took him under his wing and became sort of a mentor to him. Today, that young man has a family, travels around the country doing troubleshooting with a computer company. He always talked to me about how he respected Howard and was grateful for his mentoring. I am so thankful that Howard assisted my grandson. We will miss Howard, and have due to his illness, at our Link-Belt Retiree breakfasts. Rest in peace and God bless my friend Howard.
I am so very sad to learn of Mr Harrington's passing. As his dental hygienist for the last 14 years, I looked forward to seeing him and Mrs Harrington. His love for his daughters and grandson was inspiring, as he always talked about them (especially Luke!!!). Heaven definitely has gained a very special angel.
Dad and I shared four loves...the love of the Catholic Church, the love of football, the love of politics and the love of my son Luke. I grew up watching football with my Dad on Sundays. He taught me the game, and through out the years it became a tradition for Mom and Dad to come over on Sunday's to watch football at my house. I'd make him a big pot of chili, and we would eat, yell and shout at the Colts game on TV while Mom and Luke tolerated us! Before Dad became ill in 12'11, he was able to go with me to Lucas Oil Stadium to a few Colts games. He absolutely loved it. This coming football season will be hard without him. Sunday's without him will be difficult, because that is our family day, when Mom, Dad, Luke and I always came together as a family to see each other. We love you Dad.

We have heard many stories of what a wonderful father and grandfather this man has been. We are sorry for your loss and the pain you will endure. May your memories of times together continue to bring joy to your heart and become even more precious. May you find comfort in knowing heaven has welcomed this righteous man with opened arms.
I only know Howard through his loving daughter, Christine. Just want to send my heartfelt sympathies to the whole family. Looking at the pictures I can tell he had a loving family and supportive wife. May he rest in the arms of the angels. My prayers are with you all. Rita
