Joe Kosh, 86, of Indianapolis, passed away May 5, 2011. He was born September 15, 1924 in Harco, Illinois to the late Steve and Bertha Kosh who immigrated to the US from Hungary in 1909. Joe was preceded in death by his loving wife, Mary C. McClanahan Kosh and his brothers, John Kosh and Steve Houser. Joe is survived by his children, Carmelita Jo (Richard) Kern, Joseph Allen (Wanda) Kosh and John Steven (Lynda) Kosh. Also, Thomas (Jan) Knight, Rita (Walter) Robbins and Ron (Nancy) Knight. Joe had 8 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren Joe was a self made man who owned and operated his own business, Time Clock Service Company, for over 30 years. He was proficient in carpentry, electricity and plumbing and was also handyman who could fix anything. His passion was gardening. He enjoyed music and singing. He played the piano and was known to be quite the dancer in his earlier years. His dog, Buddy, brought him great joy. Joe will always be remembered for his quick wit and sense of humor. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 10, 2011 from 11am-1pm at Stevens Mortuary & Family Center, 5520 W. 10th Street, Indpls.
