Obituary of Ella Jonta
Ella M. Pushner Jonta 97, of Indianapolis, died April 5, 2011. Ella was born September 28, 1913 in Cleveland, OH. She worked for RCA for 24 years retiring in 1977. Ella was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church, St. Anthony Altar Society, KSKJ, Slovenian National Home, and SMPJ. She had an exceptional memory of people in Haughville and the Slovenian community! She loved playing cards, bowling and homemaking. Her parents, Joseph and Caroline Tisovic Pushner; husband, Frank G. Jonta; and sister, Sybil Beranek all precede her in death. Survivors include her children, sons Robert and David Jonta and daughter Carol (John) Penn and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held Saturday, April 9 from 10 a.m. to Noon at St. Anthony Church, 379 North Warman Ave., Indianapolis, with a Mass of Christian Burial at Noon. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Anthony Church. Arrangements are entrusted to Stevens Mortuary and Family Center. www.stevenmortuary.net
