Obituary of Luticia Scruggs

Luticia Scruggs, 77, of Indianapolis passed away on August 9, 2012. She was born on March 29, 1935 to Everett and Mable Montgomery. She worked for Farm Bureau Insurance for 18 years, retiring in 1994. She then went to work for Speedway Baptist Daycare in the Rose Bud Room. She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Debbie Scruggs; brother, Bob Montgomery. Survivors include her sons, Jeff (Patty) Scruggs, Mark (Hazel) Scruggs, Loren (Renee) Scruggs and Sheldon (Kim) Scruggs; daughters, Terri (Chris) Scruggs-Todd and Regina (Bobby) Dodson; sister, Jean (John) Key; brothers, Jack Montgomery, Jerry (Mary) Montgomery and Jim (Jo Marie) Montgomery; grandchildren, Joshua (Stacey) Scruggs, Kristen Mann, Matthew (Libby) Scruggs, Sarah Allen, Lauren Scruggs, Loren Scruggs, Justin Scruggs, Paige Scruggs, Nathan Scruggs, Kylee (Christina) Scruggs, Kimmee Tiburcio, Jessica Duff, Bobby Joe Dodson and Jacob Dodson; great grandchildren, Kieran Scruggs, Tegan Scruggs, Caleb Etter, Nathan Mann, Mattie Rose Scruggs, Benjamin Allen, Cory Thomas, Bryant Morales Scruggs, Brayten Scruggs, Jacob Jr. and Clayton. Visitation will be held on Monday, August 13 from 4 pm - 8 pm at Stevens Mortuary, 5520 W 10th Street, Indianapolis. A funeral service will be held at 10 am on Tuesday, August 14 also at the mortuary. Interment will be at Floral Park Cemetery. The family would like to thank the Oncology Department at Methodist Hospital and Dr. Bhatia for all their love and care. We would also like to thank Westside Retirement Village Health Care /Life Care Center for all the love and care they gave. A big thank you to Aunt Jean and Aunt Jo.
