Obituary of Ellen Paino
Ellen Louise Paino, 80
Ellen Louise Paino peacefully went to be with her Lord Thursday, April 12, 2012 where she was reunited with her husband and best friend, James E. Paino, Sr. who preceded her in death June 2011. She married Jim August 22nd, 1949 and shared a loving 61-year marriage.
She was the eldest child of Permelia Ellen (Baize) and Harry Ezell born on Flag Day, June 14th, 1931 in Henryville, KY. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her sister, Jean Whitley, brothers, Alva Ezell, and Leon Ezell and daughter-in-law, Kathy Paino.
Louise was a member of Lakeview Temple for 65 years and served in many ways including Sunday school teacher and special events caterer. Most recently she was an active member at Clayton Christian Church, Clayton, IN. Louise was the Food Service Director at Lakeview Christian Academy and Daycare for 21 years. She also served the community using her talents at Westlake Elementary, IUPUI , the Indiana School for the Blind, and the Country Club of Indianapolis.
She is the mother of and survived by: James E. Paino II - Indianapolis, IN; C. Joseph Smith (Belinda) - Westfield, IN; Trina E. Rawlinson (Michael) - Danville, IN; Amy J. Owen (Jason) - Danville, IN. She was the proud grandmother of Melissa Dugle (John), James Paino III, Trenton Smith (Alexis), Trevor Smith, Hannah Rawlinson, and Alyson Owen and great-grandmother to James Paino IV, Megan Dugle, Annalise Dugle, and Madelyn Smith.
