Obituary of Beverly Bailey
Beverly V. Bailey
78, of Indianapolis passed away October 2, 2011 after a decline in health following dementia and a stroke. She was born May 2, 1933 to Ethel (Crampton) Vargo and John Steven Vargo, both preceding her in death.
Survivors include her loving husband, Paul H. Bailey; sister, Barbara Joan Vargo; two daughters, Barbara L. Richardson and Tina Ann Bailey; grandson, Nicholas Paul Cozee, currently serving in the U.S. Air Force; 3 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
Beverly attended Butler's Jordan Conservatory of Music following graduation from Washington High School. Married in 1959, she raised her family along with various business opportunities. She was a proud resident of Chapel Hill Village for 44 years and an ardent supporter of the Civic Theatre, Indiana University and St. Michael's Catholic Church.
Visitation will be held at Stevens Mortuary & Family Cen ter , 5520 W. 10th St, Indpls on Wednesday, October 5 from 4 to 7 p.m., with a funeral service at 7 p.m. Burial will take place on Thursday, October 6 at Noon in Glenwood Cemetery in Roanoke, Indiana. Memorial contributions will be appreciated to the Indianapolis Humane Society in memory of Molly and Scooby. http://www.stevensmortuary.net
