Rachel Updike 98, passed away Tuesday, May 5, 2009. She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church. She retired from Eli Lilly & Co. She was preceded in death by her two brothers, Ray and Russell Bybee and her sister, Ruth McCalment. She is survived by four nieces and nephews, Ruth Napier of Palm Bay, FL, Bill Bybee and Jan Bybee of Universal, IN and Jane Bybee of Indianapolis. She had nine great-nieces and nephews; 21 great-great-nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 13, 2009 in Calvary Cemetery Chapel, with Mass to follow at 1 p.m. Arrangements entrusted to Stevens Mortuary. stevensmortuary.net
