Norma J. Sauer 78, of Brownsburg, Indiana went home to God on Tuesday, October 21, 2008. She was born October 26, 1929. Norma was happily married to Carl, the love of her life, for 61 years. She was an incredible mother to her five children: Steve, Gary, Carla, Tom and Fred. She enjoyed playing Dominoes and being surrounded by her family and friends. She was a charter member of Saint Gabriel Catholic Church. Her memory will live on in the lives of those who were blessed to know her. She is survived by her husband, Carl Sauer; her children and their spouses, Steve (Linda) Sauer, Gary (Sarah) Sauer, Carla (Don) McKinzie, Tom Sauer and Lynn Daniels; as well as 6 grandchildren, Jackie (Keith) Smith, Matt (Kelli) Sauer, Barbara Runnels, Jeff (Rene) Stahl, Mary (Calvin) Adams and Clint Sauer. She was also a proud great grandmother to Melissa, Scott, Peyton, Sydney, Hunter, Jay, Emerson, Grayson and Ethan. Visitation will be held Friday, October 24, 2008 from 4-7:30 pm, with a 7:30 pm rosary at Stevens Mortuary, 5520 W 10th St, Indpls. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, October 25, 2008 at Saint Gabriel Catholic Church, 6000 W 34th St, at 10:00 am. Christian burial will follow at Queen of Peace Cemetery.
