Betty S. Rumple, 83 of Indianapolis, IN passed away on Nov 30, 2024. She was born in Indianapolis, IN to Charles L. Smith and Beatrice (McDaniel) Grimes on April 13, 1941. She was a cake decorator for Roslyn Bakery, and a housekeeper at several hotels and in her later years she was a greeter at McDonald’s. Betty enjoyed listening to gospel music and watching Perry Mason and Bingo. She loved playing cards, singing and spending quality time with her grandchildren.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents; brother Robert Grimes; daughter Rebekah S. Bryant; son Robert M. Yeager, and grandson Rod M. Yeager.  

Betty is survived by her fiancé Raymond Mercer, daughter Deborah J. Musgrave, sons Charles F. (James R. Kays) Yeager and Roland T. Yeager; grandchildren Virginia R. (Chris Nichols) Brown, Paul W. Bryant, James Bryant, Terry L. (Haley) Shipley and Mitchell Holaus; great grandchildren Rebekah Nichols and River Shipley; and caregiver Kelly Walker.
