Obituary of C. Thomas Rhudy
C. Thomas Rhudy, 93, of Brownsburg, IN passed away on November 24, 2024. Thomas was born in Louisville, KY on December 10, 1930 to Hayden and Josephine Rhudy. Thomas graduated from Arsenal Tech High School in 1949. The following year he married Wanda, the "love of his life." Together they raised seven children with love and guidance. Tom was an excellent golfer and took up tennis during the early 1970s. Tom and Wanda played tennis as teammates and were a formidable team. Also right out of high school he went to work in the mail room at Bridgeport Brass. He retired from Bridgeport Brass as the Senior Vice-president of Sales. Throughout his life, he was an excellent bridge player and stayed active in Bridge clubs his entire life. He also became quite good at dominoes. Although his career was a focus in his life, he was a devoted family man, and always had time for his children. C. Thomas was preceded in death by his wife and his daughter, Tracy. He is survived by his daughter, Kimberly A Longo (James Longo); grandchildren, Eric and Andrea; great grandkids, Jordan, Alivia; son, Timothy J. (Joanne I); grandkids, Alison (Brad Hartung), Timothy, Christina and Brittany; great grandkids, Kristopher, Aaron, Logan and Charles; great great grandkid, Charlotte; son, Kevin M. (Sandy); grandkids, Derek (Erin), Kayla and Jordan; great grandkids, Reese and Rowan; son-in-law: Dave (Tracy) Stewart; grandkids, Michelle Xavier (Phillip), Victoria, David (Hope) and Joseph; great grandkids, Colton, Karlee, Dalton Harper, Cameron, and Skyler; son, David A. (Carla Coyler); grandkids, Charles, Aamirah, and Alexi; son, Thomas; grandkid, Lacey; daughter, Kelley Taylor, (Steve Wood); grandkids, Daniel (Kirsten), Ryan, Mark (Abbi) and Thomas; and great grandkids, Jackso, Evelyn, Janelle and Jasmine.
