Jan was one of the kindest, most upbeat, artistically talented people I knew. I worked with her for several years on special events at Butler. I remember meeting with her in my office many times discussing projects and laughing constantly! Her dynamic designs for the university's events always surpassed expectations and brought joy to thousands of people who attended the events over the years. On a personal note, I still cherish a contemporary dried floral arrangement she gifted to me which continues to brighten my living room. She was also a courageous transplant warrior who lived each day with grace and faith. My condolences to Jan's entire family.
Thanks, big sis, for all the memories, laughs and love. I’ll miss our talks.

Rest in Peace, Jan - you gave us love, joy, laughter, and compassion. You taught us grace and perseverance. You are in our hearts.
Jan and my husband Damon received their double lung transplants in the same year. They became workout buddies with several other lung transplant recipients at Pulmonary Rehab at IU Health Methodist Hospital. I always thought of these special people as the most life-loving people I had ever met. I am saddened by Jan's passing. She was a wonderful person, and I will miss her.
I had a couple classes with Janet in High school. She was so friendly and fun to be around. I'm sorry we lost touch over the years. RIP Janet and prayers to your family at this difficult time

Janet and I attended grade school and high school together and remained great friends throughout. Prayers to the family.
We met Janet a few years ago at the Methodist Hospital blood lab waiting room. My husband, Nelson received the gift of new lungs in 2018. Janet was always so thoughtful and kind and often commented on our family adventures and pictures. She will be missed by many. Prayers for her family.
Janet was a girl friend of mine in high school. Janet was sweet and fun to be with. There were 6 of us that went to basketball and football games, movies, etc. It was a fun time we had. Janet died too young.

I’m gonna miss my sister-in-law she left us way too soon.I’ll always remember when I would visit my brother and Jan would be doing housework she would break out in a loud verse of Hallelujah ….. Hallelujah….Hallelujah. She was the best.
Jan was my grade school and high school very best friend. We enjoyed going to each other's houses and our moms were like extra moms to each of us. She was so full of life and faith. We lost touch with each other over the years but we never lost our friendship and memories. Jan was an inspiration to alot of people and she will be greatly missed. Condolences to all the family and friends that loved her and she loved so much!
Jan was one of the best people I’ve ever met in my life. She was always so optimistic and upbeat and could always see the good in people and situations. Many people ask how you’re doing but Jan actually cared to know. I will always remember her for her kindness, love, and faith.
John and Mike, thank you for sharing your mom with me. What an amazing and talented woman. She was my dear friend for 36 years and I can’t tell you what a blessing she has been to me. She truly loved life and people. Whenever life threw her a curve, she fought with all of her might and didn’t give up. She taught all of us about faith in Christ and the power of prayer. She lived it every day. We miss you already, dear friend but will see you in heaven . Love, Mark and Mindy Schweibold
