Obituary of Sgt. Ryan Joseph Radez

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Sergeant Ryan Radez, a dedicated member of the United States Army and the Indiana National Guard. Sergeant Radez passed away peacefully on July 13th, at 1:30 a.m., in Brownsburg, Indiana. Born on November 30th, 1982, he was 41 years old.

Sergeant Radez enlisted in the Indiana National Guard on May 24th, 2013, and served with honor and distinction throughout his military career. He was a valued member of the 1313th Engineer Company in Franklin, IN, and the 139th Support Company in Crawfordsville, IN.

Sergeant Radez held two Military Occupational Specialties (MOS): Utilities Equipment Repairer and Construction Equipment Repairer, showcasing his expertise and dedication to his roles.

In recognition of his exemplary service, Sergeant Radez earned numerous awards and decorations.

Sergeant Radez served multiple deployments, including Kuwait, UAE and Iraq.

He is survived by his parents, Rich and Donna Radez, his sister Paige Ison, his brother, Eric Radez, and nephews, Griffin and Brady Ison.

A viewing to honor Sergeant Ryan Radez's life will be held at Stevens Mortuary on Saturday, July 20, 2024 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Prayer Service will be held from 12:00 p.m. till 1:00 p.m. Following the Prayer Service, burial will take place at Crown Hill Cemetery.

Sergeant Ryan Radez's dedication, versatility, and selfless commitment to duty will forever be cherished by his comrades and remembered by a grateful nation. May he rest in peace.
