Obituary of Carol Hutton
Carol Hutton, 69, passed away May 29, 2024, at her home in Avon, Indiana, with her son and daughter by her side.
She was born September 11, 1954, to Sylvia and Don Isenberg.
Carol Hutton was truly special. With her infectious smile and generous spirit, she brought joy to everyone around her. She loved watching NASCAR and dirt track racing, and could be found most summer Saturday nights at a local dirt track cheering on her favorite driver, her son. She enjoyed traveling around the world, including adventures in Kenya, Ireland, France, New Zealand, and the Galápagos Islands with her daughter. Carol enjoyed going to music concerts and she was a lifelong devoted fan of the Indiana Hoosiers basketball teams. Her friends and family were everything to Carol, and they equally adored her. Carol’s impact on others was profound. She will be deeply missed.
Carol is preceded in death by Greg, her husband of 44 years, and survived by son Christopher and daughter Rebecca; three brothers, Skip, John, and Deiter (Katie); four grandchildren, David, Ashley (Ed), Kyle (Keaira), and Alivia; ten great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
The family would like to extend special thanks to the doctors and nurses of IU Health West, family members, and dear friends who went out of their way to provide support, assistance, and encouragement to the Huttons during recent months.
At her request, no service will be held. A celebration of life will be planned at a later time.
