Obituary of Catherine Winona Lenoir

Catherine "Cathy" Lenoir,  of Indianapolis, IN, departed this life peacefully at the age of 51 on May 26, 2024, at Greenwood Meadows Hospice Facility. Born on February 4, 1973, to Leon Williams and Marcia Ann Due, Catherine professed a hope in Christ at an early age and was baptized shortly thereafter. Catherine graduated from Arsenal Technical High School in 1991 and discovered a passion for customer service, leading her to work at the electronics retailer H.H. Gregg. Known for her culinary skills, she began cooking at the age of 10, and her great cooking became a beloved highlight among family and friends. Catherine was also known for her generosity, always ready to help those in need, and her hospitality was cherished by all who knew her. Additionally, she had a deep love for R&B music, with New Edition being her favorite group. Her smile and laughter will be deeply missed. by all who knew her. Catherine was preceded in death by her mother, Marcia Ann Due; father, Leon Williams; grandmother, Thelma Bentley; grandfather, Charles Due Sr.; and brother, Leon Williams Jr. She leaves to cherish her memory her children Brittney R. Hamilton, Dominique Dunlap, and Courtney Dunlap; sisters Nikia Burton and Geneva Sims (Terrence); brothers Jesse Williams, Karl Williams, and James Williams; grandchildren Dominique Dunlap Jr. and Dash Dunlap; as well as a host of nephews, cousins, and friends.
