Obituary of Peter Martin Kramer

Peter Martin Kramer, 72, of Danville, passed away May 4, 2024. He was born in Eystrup, Germany to Maria Stibbe & Gunter Kramer. (Step-mother Maria Kramer & Step-Father Adolf Stibbe) After leaving Eystrup, his family moved to Racine, Wisconsin where he spent his young life growing up before he settled in Indiana. Throughout his school years, he was a strong academic & athlete. After graduation, Pete would join the hit local band, The Trendels, originating in 1968. Playing the keyboard alongside friends he would have for life, brought him so much joy. He loved adventure. He would end his career "drivin' truck", alongside Jackie as his passenger, retiring in 2008. He loved to spend time with his family, watch football, play golf, and listen to music. Pete was kind, (a big teddy bear to most), smart, contagiously funny, loving, and the “stubborn ol’ German.” He made friends anywhere he went. He made sure to speak to his best friend, Bob (Linda) Petrouske, weekly up to his passing. Pete is preceded in death by his loving wife, Jaqueline Kay, Parents: Gunter(Maria) Kramer, and Maria Stibbe. He leaves behind - Children: Paul(Julie) Kramer, Eric Kramer and Kari Kramer (Clayton). Grandchildren: Camber, Justin, Christian, and Jillian. Many friends & extended relatives. He will be deeply missed, always remembered, and welcomed into heavens arms, where mom awaits him with a smile.
