Obituary of Rodney A. Cannon

Rodney Allen Cannon the son of the late George and Larzetta Cannon was born April 8, 1966 in Indianapolis, IN. Rodney received his education in the IPS Schools # 26, 101 and Arsenal Tech High School where he received his GED. Rodney departed this life on Monday, October 19, 2015. Rodney professed a hope in Christ at an early age and was baptized. Rodney was a fun loving person that kept everyone laughing and he loved to entertain people. Rodney loved spending time with family and friends. He also loved taking over the MIC on karaoke night, he swore he was the next "Gerald Levert". Rodney's past employment included Popeye's Chicken, Indianapolis Public School System and University Moving and Storage when he wanted to come in and work. Rodney will be greatly missed but his memories will live on forever. Rodney was preceded in death by his parents, George and Larzetta Cannon; brothers, George Cannon Jr., Eugene Cannon and (twin brother) Ronald Cannon. Rodney leaves to cherish his memory; children, Rodney Cannon Jr., Stephen Cannon, Nicholas Cannon, Skylar Cannon and Eric Spells; companion, Candice Roberson; brothers, Lewis Woodruff, Calvin Cannon, Ira Cannon, Nathaniel Cannon; sisters, Charlesetta Anthony, Judy Adams, Margaret Edwards, Joyce Williams and Cynthia Cannon; grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, loving relatives and many friends.
