Obituary
Obituary of Daniel Jerome Moore
Daniel Jerom Moore was born January 2, 1982 in Indianapolis, IN to Phillip Jerome Moore and Dominise M. Drane. Daniel was baptized at an early age at Unity Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church. He attended Forest Manor grade school and then went on to Arsenal Tech High School and graduated in 2000. He was working at Panera Bread and was going to enroll in the School of Culinary Arts. He had two beautiful children. Daniel J. Moore passed away of natural causes on Saturday, February 20, 2016 at 7am. Although he will be sorely missed, we are grateful to God that he is now at peace. His older brother, Antonio and I (after I taught him how to play chess) started to beat us. He was a great chess player. He loved watching NBA and NFL with family. When I talked to Daniel about life I told him to get right with Christ because God was in control and to pray every day. He loved his two children. Stepmom Eloise who has been in Daniel's life for 29 years always told Daniel to be responsible. Daniel had turned his life around. That's the best gift a father can have from his son. The Lord called Daniel home.
Survivors include his father, Phillip J. Moore; his mother, DomInese Drane; his stepmom, Eloise R. Moore; son, Daniel (Little D) Moore; daughter, Aalyah Moore; brother, Antonio D. Moore; grandfather, Robert H. (Barbara) Moore, great grandmother, Amie Black; auntie, Joyce Brandon (Stephan); uncles, Bob Moore (Serita), Howard Moore, and Eric Moore; along with a host of aunts, uncles, stepbrother, stepsister, cousins, great grandmother and friends.
The family would like to thank everyone for their prayers, cards, gifts, comforting words, flowers and food. Words cannot express your kindness and generosity in our time of need.
