Margaret E. Petro, 76, of Indianapolis, passed away March 7, 2016 surrounded by her loving family. She was born June 27, 1939 in Carbon, Indiana to John Thompson and Ruth Wilson who both precede her in death. She retired after 49 years from Lau Corp. Margaret loved football, reading books, camping, skiing, and spending time with family and friends. She was the most giving person with a sense of humor up to her last minute. Margaret was preceded in death by her husband, Roger L. Petro and brother, Charles (Doris)Thompson Survivors include her daughter, Roxanna Doan; brother, David (Sandy) Thompson; sisters, Margaret (Butch) Manis, Betty (Pete) Foster and Susie (Ron) Pierce; granddaughters, Tia Ferch, Ashley Ferch and Genevieve Collins; grandson, Dylan Morgan; great grandsons, Michael Stambaugh, Owen Perryman, Gavyn Perryman, Calen Fuelling and Ryan Stambaugh; eight nieces and 10 nephews. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly request donations be made to the family to help with funeral expenses.
