Obituary
Obituary of Virginia Anne Garner
Virginia Ann Brown-Garner, beloved wife, mother, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend to many. Virginia, Ms. Virginia, Ms. Ann, Ma, grandma, was a beautiful and strong woman that took care of herself and many others. A devoted wife and mother that lived for her husband, daughter, & grandchildren. She also took care of her extended family, and was instrumental in raising countless others including her siblings, grandchildren, nieces, & nephews. She has been described as fun loving, feisty, & confident. A woman that had the determination to fight and never give up; which are qualities she instilled in the many lives she touched. A supportive wife that loved to travel and visit family over the many highways with her husband, yet still maintained work, going to school to earn her Master's Degree, & her home. Known for her radiant smile that would light up a room with her heart, star & moon designs; matter of fact attitude, her family would describe her as "she do not play" a person that loved God. Her husband says "She was the best wife in the world", my partner, my friend, the love of my life.
She leaves to cherish her memories: A devoted and loving husband of 23 wonderful years, Carroll; daughters: Chiquitta (Elliott) Pritchard, Step-daughter: Marcella (Rodney) Bolden; Step-son: Christopher Garner; Grandchildren: Nautika Taylor, Antwan Murray, Shawn Garner, & Marcelous Garner, all of Cleveland, OH; Mother who helped care for her, Vallie Brown, Daytona Beach, FL; Sisters: Patricia (Byron) Byrd, Port Orange, FL; Melissia (Horace) Mack, Holly Hill, FL; Brothers: Ulysses Brown, Jr., Jacksonville, FL, Dexter Brown & Vincent Brown, both of Daytona Beach, FL; a brother-in-law: Douglas Garner, Nieces/Nephews Rashad, Nicole, Byron, Jr., Courtney, Mikel, Faith, Caprice, Erikah, Curt, Jr.; Great Nieces/Nephews: Topaz., Nicco, Arielle, Mekhi, Maya, Braxton, and Ryan; God-Children: LaTasha and Daynetra Watson, A.J., Indianapolis; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and countless friends.
