Obituary of Margret "SUE" Jordan
Margret Sue Jordan was born on October 14, 1953, in Ocilla, Georgia to the late Elisha and Ida Mae Jordan. She was known to everyone as "Sue." Sue attended George Washington Carver High School in Douglas, Georgia, graduating in 1972. Sue enjoyed her job at Indianapolis Public Schools as an Employment Training Specialist and Job Coach for special needs students. She retired in 2010 after 21 years of service. Sue had especially enjoyed working part time at Center for Spine and Sports Rehabilitation (CSSR), where her former desk is still referred to as "Sue's desk." Sue was an active member of the Spring Mill congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses in Indianapolis, IN, where she was dearly loved and appreciated. She served Jehovah faithfully for over 46 years, having been baptized February 10, 1970. Sue was known to her coworkers and friends for her happy "Jordan smile". Although she had many health problems, she maintained a positive attitude. Sue leaves to cherish her memory her brothers and sisters, Jessie Lee "J.L." Jordan (Valleaner), Gwendolyn Jordan, James Jordan (Glendora), Samuel Jordan (Louise), Jacqueline Reed (Arnell), and Shirley Ross, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Sue was preceded in death by her sister, Brenda Jordan; her brother, Moses Jordan; her mother and father, Ida Mae and Elisha Jordan; and her sister, Mary Helen Jordan.
