Mia L. Seashols was born February 7, 1974 in Indianapolis, Indiana to David Carther and Patricia Simms. Mia attended Broad Ripple High School and completed several college courses at Alabama A&M and IUPUI. In addition to being a server at The Corner Wine Bar in Broad Ripple and with Chili's for over 5 years, Mia held a handful of other positions in a service capacity. In 2006, Keith and Mia married in the tropical paradise of Hawaii. Ethan was born in 2007 and Ella arrived in 2011. Mia's most honorable career was that of wife to Keith and mother to Ethan and Ella. Mia was preceded in death by her mother, Patricia Simms. Mia is survived by her father David Carther, sisters Kristin Carther and Julia Ford-Carther; brother, Alex Ford-Carther, husband Keith, children Ethan and Ella, a host of uncles and aunts, nieces and nephews and much extended family and many life-long friends. Mia is fondly remembered for her deep love of her family and close friends, wearing red nail polish, taking long baths, lounging in sweatpants, drinking chai tea lattes, baking her favorite oatmeal cookies that had her special touch, enjoying a Dunkin' Donuts treat, cheering on the World Series Champion Chicago Cubs, vigorously cleaning with bleach, enjoying her favorite flowers- roses and lilies, munching on Lay's Classic Potato Chips, sipping 7-Up or Sierra Mist while watching The Bold and the Beautiful, and snacking on Keebler Fudge Stripes cookies.
