Milena "Mitza" Long, 74, New Whiteland, passed away February 9, 2009. She was born August 7, 1934. Mitza was a member of St. Stephen Church and loved gardening and her flowers; her family and friends, of whom she was very dedicated to. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert E. Long and is survived by her son, Joko (Joanne) Georgiev; daughters, Vera (Steve) Wheat and Nada (John) Phoenix; sister, Maria Belbrie; brothers, Kocho, Steve and Nickola Rusomaroff; 10 grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren. She will be sadly missed by all. Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 12, 2009 at St. Stephen Bulgarian Orthodox Church, 16th and Medford, at 2:00 pm, with 1/2 hour calling prior to service. Visitation will be held at Stevens Mortuary, 5520 W 10th St, on Wednesday, February 11, 2009 from 5-8 pm. Contributions may be made to St. Stephen Church.
