Gary N. Coen, 79, was born on April 29, 1938 in Anderson, Indiana to Jennings and Donna Coen. He passed away and went to his forever home on September 5, 2017. Gary joined the Marines after high school and never ceased being a proud Marine. His working life was spent in Information Technology, which took him to Colorado. He loved the mountains and everything in them. Hunting and fishing were two of his favorite pastimes. However, his true passion was golf. He played regularly and with enthusiasm. He is survived by his loving wife Marcia Coen and his four children; Scott Coen of Fort Worth, Texas (wife Kim), Patrick Coen of Anderson, Indiana (wife Alice), Kevin Coen of Indianapolis, Indiana (fianc Jen), Kelly Mitchell of Brownsburg, Indiana; stepdaughter Deb Spall of Fishers, Indiana; brother Brent Coen of Wimberly, TX (wife Suzette); and sister, Pam Hardin of Taylorsville, KY (husband Tom). He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren. He will be missed and loved forever. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Diabetes Association.
