Florence Scott

Obituary of Florence Annie Scott

Florence Annie (Patrick) Scott I entered this world on February 7, 1939. I was the oldest of nine children born to James and MattieDavis Patrick (deceased) in Columbia, Tennessee. I was raised by my late maternal grandparents John and Elizabeth Pillow Davis. I professed my faith in CHRIST at a very young age. I was married to William Howard Scott (deceased) for 36 years. Two children were born from this union. Deneen Leigh (Scott) Guess and Roger William Scott (deceased). I was a Special Needs Teacher for 38 years. So, as I left this world on September 27, 2017 it didnt matter how many degrees I had, clubs or organizations I belonged to. What is important is I hope I did not live my life in vain. I would like to be remembered as the best granddaughter, daughter, teacher, wife, mother, aunt and friend that I could be. I have gone to live with my Savior JESUS CHRIST and I will see all my loved ones again. Deneen always remember I love you with all my heart so live your life and be happy. I leave behind my father, James A. Patrick Indianapolis, IN; daughter, Deneen L. (Scott) Guess, Indianapolis, IN; brother, John C. (Gail) Patrick Southfield, MI; aunt, Verna Patrick Simmons; nephews Alex D. Patton, Terrence Patrick, James C. Patrick; nieces Ragan Patrick, Miko Motley; favorite cousins Chlora Patrick Nicholson, Charlotte Frazier and a host of cousins, relatives and friends.
