Obituary
Obituary of Darrell Lamont Shearon
Darrell L. Shearon, 48, of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away November 9, 2017. He was born November 28, 1968 to the late Jerry Shearon and Gloria Jean Majors. Darrell worked for Shaffer Restaurant for 15 years and E-Logistics for 2 years. He worked as a chef and a warehouse worker. He loved his arts and crafts, drawing, airbrushing, and his old school music. He loved his family and friends and never met a stranger. He was truly one of a kind.
Darrell was a very dedicated lover and friend and he longed for his mother. He was an all-around loveable and likeable young man who always kept a smile on his face and joy in his heart. He professed a hope in Christ at an early age and he re-renewed that hope in Christ in his adult life when he was baptized at Mt. Zion Apostolic Church. Although not a regular member, he still had his own personal relationship with the Lord.
Darrell is survived by his significant other, Rachel Menendez; grandmother, Gwendolyn Jones; sisters, Rhonda (Jessie) Coleman and LaShawn Majors; aunts, Chaeyumg White and Jackie Majors; stepson, Davonnie Mendendez; uncle, Terry Shearon; and lifetime friends, Derrick Phillips, Dominic Trice, Joann Beem, and Joseph Satterfield.
