Obituary of Donald Tysher "Ty" Monroe
Donald Tysher Monroe (Ty), born September 15, 1963 in South Bend, Indiana to the proud parents of Donald G. and Beverly Monroe.
Ty graduated from South Bend Clay High School. He began his college education at the University of Arkansas and received his BS in Business Administration at Peru State College.
Ty spent most of his career in sales/marketing and telecommunications. He became self-employed starting DTM LLC where he was a call center consultant/trainer.
Ty loved music and was well diverse in all genres. He enjoyed his competitive conversations with his brothers over any sporting event always defending the Colts and the Pacers. When Ty wanted to relax you could find him on the golf course. In 1989 Ty met and started courting his long time best friend, DeeAnn Ramey. 14 years of courtship followed in 15 years of marriage. Words cannot express how proud he was of his daughter, Taylor. His proud boisterous supportive voice could be heard on the soccer fields or basketball courts throughout her sports career.
Donald Tysher Monroe at the age of 54 passed away Wednesday, May 23rd, 2018. Donald was preceded in death by his father, Donald G. Monroe. He is survived by his wife, DeeAnn Ramey and daughter Taylor; mother, Beverly Monroe; four brothers Jaimes (Shantel), Marcus (Vanissa), Troy (Cheryl), all of South Bend and Robert (Melissa) of Indianapolis; two sisters; Chari (Daryl) Anderson of Lithonia, Georgia and Malaikah Larrie Monroe of South Bend; several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
