Deloris, It was a pleasure meeting you. I will always remember you. Do me a favor and tell Jesus not to call the role until I get there.
The Golden Girls, (Deloris,Doris,Judy,Billie), shared a lot of good times with Deloris. We went on several trips together. On our birthdays we would always get together and go out to eat. Deloris always enjoyed the small things in life, a phone call, a card. She was so appreciative of us caring about her. We never heard Deloris complain. When we would ask her how she was doing she would say, I am alright. Deloris showed great courage when she decided to discontinue her treatments knowing what would happen. She was just so tired of being tired, but she was so much at total peace with her decision. The family did all they could but God and Deloris had another plan. God needed another Angel. Deloris will forever be remembered by us We love you Deloris, rest in peace. The Golden Girls

Aunt Delois I miss you already, I sat the other day and thought about all the times you and I had our little talks, I would confide in you my deepest secrets and thoughts, and you NEVER told a soul, you would say just pray on it Reese'. I remember all the times I would always tell Momma" I'm gonna tell Aunt Delois on you!" when she made me mad, and she and yourself would just laugh. I love you Auntie and I will forever be blessed and grateful for GOD giving me a Aunt such as yourself. You know you were my favorite, my ace in the hole,(I would go to war about you) You were very selfless, never really complained about anything and anyone, always smiling. You fought a LONG fight, I seen your journey and knew how tired you were. Rest Auntie cause GOD has you now. No more pain, suffering from being stuck with needles, surgeries, medications, saying yes you feel alright when you really didn't. You were like my 2nd mother and again I THANK GOD for giving me such a beautiful, warm, kind and loving person to have as a Aunt, until I see you again LOVE YOU AUNT DELOIS Love You Forever Reese'
