Obituary of Elgin Bryant
Elgin Bryant, age 54, of Indianapolis, passed away on Tuesday, December 4, 2018 at St. Vincent. He was born in Indianapolis on March 1, 1964 to Clifford and Thelma (Harris) Bryant. Elgin graduated from Northwest High School in 1983.
Elgin played basketball during his youth and as a young adult. As he got older, he loved watching basketball. He loved movies, playing cards, going to the casino and having fun with friends. Elgin loved music so much that he used to DJ.
Elgin gave his life to Christ at an early age. He grew up in the Catholic Faith. Elgin was a true man of God. He currently attends Fellowship at True Believers Baptist Church.
He was a man of very few words, when he spoke it was worth listening to. He was always had a listening ear and there was never a time he would not be available to talk or just listen. If you asked for advice, he would always refer you to scripture. Elgin was a patient and kind soul.
Elgin is survived by his wife of three years, Alesia Bryant; sons, Elgin Wilson, and Marcus Wilson; daughter, Erica Bryant; step-children, Allen Wilson, Paul Wilson, Nick Wilson, Gregory Harper, Steven Kaba, Dana May II, Danielle May, Anikka and Sheena; brothers, Jimmy, Byron, Vincent, Clifford, and Damien; a host of grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Elgin was preceded in death by his parents, Clifford and Thelma (Harris) Bryant; and brother, Arron Bryant.
