Gwynn Marie Findlay, age 77 passed away on Friday, December 14, 2018, in Indianapolis, Indiana. She was born in Lakeland, Florida to Buster and Genevieve (Stinson) Hughes and was their only child. As a teenager she moved with her mother to Dayton, Ohio, where she attended school. Gwynn met her first love there and they soon married, becoming the parents of five children. Gwynn was preceded in death by her parents, her daughter Lita McGuire and son Jeffrey McGuire. Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Everett (Connie) McGuire, daughter Tracy Figures, son Christopher (Gail) McGuire and Lance Findlay, as well as a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren. Gwynn graduated from Manual High School and started her own cleaning business, she fondly named 2 your door. Upon retirement, she allowed herself to indulge in her passion of arts and crafts, as well as coloring and her love for flutterbys (butterflys). Gwynn adored her dogs and she affectionately referred to them as her girls. Her long-time companion, Cinnamon (her poodle) also passed away and at Gwynns request her ashes are going to be forever by her side. Gwynn is being laid to rest at her son, Jeffs side and like him, she will be sadly missed. Live each day as if its your last, because tomorrow is never promised.
