Frances was born on August 7, 1949 in Indianapolis, Indiana to Prentice and Hazeline Levell who preceded in her in death. Frances graduated from George Washington High School and Herron School of Art. She worked as a Nurses Assistant for 30 years at Methodist Hospital, retiring in 1997. Frances was an active member of the Spring Mill congregation of Jehovahs Witnesses in Indianapolis, IN, where she was dearly loved and appreciated. She served Jehovah faithfully for over 31 years, having been baptized on July 2, 1988. She loved her family and friends, and most importantly, spreading the Word of Jehovah. She used her calligraphy skills to provide uplifting scriptures to anyone in need. She always had them on hand in her arts and crafts bag(s). This is just an example that highlights her devotion to Jehovah and others by her labors of love through her art, her smile and her kind words. Everyone who was well acquainted with Frances knew how zealous she was in discussing scriptures and distributing Bible literature at every opportunity to anyone who happened to be on hand. Frances had a desire to travel, and bowling provided the opportunity to visit many cities across the country. She particularly enjoyed traveling to Vienna, Austria to attend an international convention of Jehovahs witnesses, to Canada Bethel, and Headquarters of Jehovahs Witnesses in New York. Although Frances had many health problems, she made time for congregation meetings either in person or over the telephone. Frances enjoyed cooking, "collard greens, lasagna (ooowee)"! Frances was preceded in death by brothers, Reginald, Danny, and James. Frances leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Emery; children, Kimberly Levell (Russell); and Jason Covington (Sumiko); Sister, Pamela Perry; brothers, Rocky (Cynthia); Tony (Venita); Stephon (Jackie); Christopher, and Gregory; Grandchildren, Andre and Jasmine Neely; great-grandchild Jhene Neely; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Frances was preceded in death by brothers, Reginald, Danny, and James. As we remember Frances Clark today, remember her smile and the joy she had waiting for a new system and the day she didnt have to be afraid of caterpillars. Frances would be able to hold one in her hand and say, I dont know why I was so scared of you because Jehovahs made you a beautiful creature. One of Frances favorite scriptures says: Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous. It does not brag, does not get puffed up, does not behave indecently, does not look for its own interests, does not become provoked. It does not keep account of the injury. It does not rejoice over unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth.
