Obituary of Donna Doll
Donna "Dee" Doll
Donna M. (Dick) Doll left us on May 18, 2020. Donna was born to Othmar and Hallie Dick on January 27,1955. A graduate of Evansville Reitz Class of 1973, Dee continued her education graduating from Indiana University,Bloomington and advanced studies from IUPUI.
Dee was the proud perfect Golf wife to John Doll Sr. often getting repaid for golf hours with matched hours enjoying the arts, music or outdoor fun. Stepmother to John Doll Jr. A thirst for knowledge, reading three newspapers each day, a political Junkie and fact checker extraordinaire, Dee loved a good debate.
Dee was the consummate Hostess for gatherings both for family and friends, boasting if she did not make it, "she made it possible". Her attention to detail was apparent in all she did, gardening, cooking and executing she was proud of her accomplishments. Hospitality, retail, real estate were careers Dee pursued until accepting a job with Bose McKinney and Evans where she had a long and extensive career retiring in 2017.
Dee was always a proud wife, aunt, friend and confidant, she will be missed by siblings, sibling in laws, a niece and nephews. Preceded in death by parents and older sister.
In lieu of flowers contributions to the Indianapolis Zoo, ACLU of Indiana or Southern Law Center.
