Jesús conoca a mucha gente y tena muchos amigos.
Jesus Acua was born to Isauro Acua and Maurilia Cortez on October 15, 1955 in Tamaulipas, Mexico.
The Lord called him home on June 10, 2020, in Indianapolis, Indiana, USA. He leaves behind a loving and
growing family. He and his wife, Alba Acua, were married for 36 years, but had been together for 42
years. Together they raised four children: Edwin Acua (Laura Esparza); Yader Acua (Cristina Felipe
Rojas); Jozihey Acua (Nayely Palacios), and Iza Acua. There are eight grandchildren. He, himself, comes from a large family, with eight surviving siblings. His parents precede him in death.
Jesús came to this country in 2001 with his oldest son. He was later joined by his wife and other sons. His wife and children lovingly speak about Jesús as a very good, hard-working man, who loved his family
dearly. His daughters-in-law have only good things to say about him, as they remember the kind of man
he was. Jesús is remembered as a very social man who loved to dance. He was a fun and happy man who liked to joke around. They remember his kindnesses towards others. He enjoyed get-togethers, and he
never wanted to leave anyone out. His motto was "The more the merrier!" He loved to surround himself
with people.
Jesús knew many people and he had many friends. He was not only kind, but he was also generous. He
helped to pay for his brothers' education and never talked about it. He wanted to see them, as well his
children and the rest of the world, succeed.
To his sons, he was their best friend. He taught his children to work hard and to do well at everything
they did. He would have given his life for his wife or for any one of his children. There could not have
been a better father. He did not go to church regularly, but he prayed and loved the Lord. He had very
many friends in Mexico, and even though he has been gone almost twenty years from there, he still is
remembered in his hometown, and he is still known by many people in Mexico. Jesús Acua . . . dad, husband, grandfather, friend . . . you will always be missed and forever you will be
remembered . . . by family and by friends and by all who knew you.
