Christopher Scott Kelly was born in Indianapolis, IN, June 8, 1973, to Pastor Calvin Kelly and Hazel Kelly. He attended Washington Township Schools, graduating from North Central High School, later attending Vincennes University and IUPUI.
Christopher accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior at an early age and was blessed to be baptized by his father. He was an active member of the cherub and youth choir, usher board, and drill team. He led GSBC drill team to win their first trophy singing "Hold up the Light".
Christopher's love for music and incredible voice was discovered in church, carrying over into his professional life. As a talented, award winning, music producer and writer, he has worked with Divine, Avant, the O'Jays, Boyz to Men, and many more. He is well respected and loved in the music community.
Christopher married his high school sweetheart, Alesha Hatter, on December 18, 1996.They were blessed with two children Christian and Collin. Christopher was a gentle, kind spirit loved by many. His natural ability to make everyone laugh was a super power. He loved good food, fashion, travel, and his family. He was a loving husband, father, music mentor, and friend. His life and talent touched the hearts of many and will be truly missed. Christopher departed this life on Monday, December 28,2020 at 5:55 pm surrounded by his loving family, Christopher was preceded in death by his mother Hazel Kelly and son Collin Kelly. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Alesha Kelly, daughter, Christian Kelly, father, Pastor Kelly, brother, Calvin Kelly Jr., and a host of cousins, extended family, and friends.
