Condolences
I was on the interview panel at the IRS and had the pleasure of selecting him as a Revenue Officer and it was one of the best selections I ever made. He was a model employee and made me proud as I watched him develop and earn several positions while I was in Indiana. He took on more and more responsible roles and earned a reputation for doing an exceptional job. He was always confident, and intent on doing a quality job. When I moved on from Infiana he gave me a picture of his family which I still have. He loved his family and we talked about them often. I still have that picture in my book of pictures from my time in Indiana. I was very sad to hear of his passing. May he Rest In Peace.
Isaiah 61:3; ‶ To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of Righteousness; the planting of that He might be gloried ‶
My condolences to the family of James. I worked with him for many years at IRS while meeting Gwen and the kids. He was well respected and more importantly respected others. We all were family there. I haven't seen James in a long while, watching the video brought back some fond memories of knowing him and tears to my eyes. I know he will be greatly missed. May God give you all strength comfort and peace through the days ahead. God bless you. Allene Pepper

James and I were more than just co-workers at the IRS, we were fellow members at Progressive Missionary Baptist Church. I am so sorry to hear of his passing, and my thoughts and prayers go out to his family. He was dearly loved and will be truly missed..
Sending my prayers and condolences to my family. May God continue to embrace you all with His Amazing Love during this difficult time and the days ahead. I love you all
James was one of the first IRS employees I meet when I started at the IRS in the Gary/Merrillville, IN Area - He was kind, smart, fair minded and always knew what direction he was traveling in... James made an impact on me and many others throughout the IRS, as he moved through the ranks he carried that same fairness and confidence with him... no matter where he went he always had time for a friend, you were an asset to this organization and to this world - you will be missed...
Today as I watched the service, memories of James at the WDT ballpark came flooding back to me. I saw him teaching Jameka and Tre and cheering them on. I saw little Jayla bouncing along beside him. I'm so sorry you've lost your daddy so young. I'm grateful you'll see him again and he is free from pain.
