John Owusu, 79, of Indianapolis passed away on June 3, 2024. John was born in Kumasi, Ghana on May 1, 1942 to Osei Kwasi and Jamfua Akua, both preceded him in death. John enjoyed spending quality time with his family and was an avid soccer player and fan. John was a machine mechanic and worked for the Ghana Water Company. Later, he was an associate for the Walmart Supermarket. He is survived by his brothers, John Osei, Festus Mensah and Kingsley Boakye-Yhadom; sister Theresa Osei; daughters Comfort, Sarah and Esther Owusu; sons Kofi and Kwabena Owusu; grandchildren Patrick Osei Owusu, Ellen Osei Owusu, Andrews Owusu, Erica Kwakye, Derrick Owusu, Gladys Owusu, Faustina Kwakye, Sandra Sarpong, Derrek Owusu, Michael Amoako, Bianca Bourquein, Princess Boateng, Janice Asah Owusu, Precious Boateng and Noah Owusu.
