Obituary of Ernest Crenshaw
Ernest "Ernie" Crenshaw, 87, of Franklin, IN passed away on Wednesday, October 13, 2021. He was born in Kentucky to Walter and Marie Crenshaw on January 18, 1934. Ernie worked at many jobs over his adult life but spent most of his work years at Zimmer's, retiring in the late 90's. He and his wife, Carol travelled some and enjoyed yard sales and setting up at various Flea Markets on the weekends. Ernie mostly enjoyed his cars and working in his yard. He was also an avid Colts fan. He was a friendly, hard-working, soft-spoken man who will be missed by his daughters and family. Ernie was preceded in death by his wife, Carol Crenshaw; his parents Walter and Marie Crenshaw; his brother, Bill Crenshaw; and his sister, Shirley Mann. He is survived by his daughters, Vickie Crenshaw and Sheila (Mike) Bradshaw; grandchildren, Randy, Matt, Fiona and Xavier; great grandchildren, Austin and Autumn Anderson; his sister, Wendy Cox; his step-children, Ramsey, Joanne, Vikki and Lana (Kim); and lots of step-grandchildren.
