Edward Lee Sturgis, 69, of Indianapolis passed away on Wednesday, April 6, 2022. He was born in Syracuse, New York on December 26, 1952 to Maggie Johnson and Sy Sturgis, both whom preceded him in death, as well as his brother, Gene Thomas. Edward is survived by his daughter, Colleen Etheridge; grandson, Alejandro; sister, Geraldine Johnson; brothers, Raymond Johnson and Christopher Johnson; nieces, Sherry Thomas and Laneisha Howard; nephews, Jermaine Thomas and Mark Thomas; and a host of other nieces and nephews and his cousins.
