Obituary of Jacquelyn Marlene Reed
Jacquelyn Marlene Reed, most of her family and friends knew her as Jackie Boyce, was born in Decatur, Illinois on November 23, 1946 to Mary Rhodes and Clarence Boyce.
At an early age she was baptized and professed a hope in Christ as her personal savior in Versailles, Missouri. She would later become a member of New Zion Community Church.
Jackie was a graduate of Richland Community College. She worked in many positions over the years; from the headquarters of AE Staley, Decatur, IL, to her last position at Community North Hospital, Indianapolis.
She leaves to cherish her memories, 4 children, April (Jerry Ronnie) Partee of Indianapolis, Kelly (Latonya) Boyce of Davenport, FL, Lacey Flowers of Indianapolis, Michael (Cassandra) Flowers of Decatur, IL.; bonus son, Danny (Brenna) Flowers of Union City, TN; 14 grandchildren, Ashley, Brittany, Donovan, Jaleiyah, Jalen, Jasmine, Jaylen Jerry, Kamryn, Kelly Jr., Kelsey. Kennyotta, Michael Jr., William; 17 great grandchildren; 5 sisters, Annette Boyce Patton of Dallas, Patricia Boyce of Sacramento, CA, Carolyn Mosby and Cheryl Mosby of St. Louis and Cynthia Mallott of Albilene, TX; 3 brothers, Russell Rhodes of Milwaukee, Clarence Boyce and Carl Mosby of St. Louis.
Jackie will be joining her parents; 2 sisters, Diane Pollard and Barbara Miller; 2 brothers, Michael Boyce and Clarence Ethan Boyce; 2 grandchildren, Cameron Dixon and Gabrielle Flowers; and special aunt, Irene Boston.
