I moved to Robin Run village in March of this year. I had the pleasure of getting to know Vija slightly in that time, but I can state she had a very sweet spirit.

I am so very sorry for the death of your mother and grandmother. What an amazing woman. Her story alone is inspiring. Andra, I remember you talking about your parents with such love over the years. I will keep Vija and all of you in my thoughts and prayers. RIP.

I always enjoyed seeing Leons and Vija at church, they were such a sweet couple and a perfect example of what true love is!! Peace be with you and your family as you mourn the loss of this beautiful lady.

My condolences to The Liepa Family on the passing of Vija. I remember her as a very sweet and loving lady. I have lovely memories of Leon’s and Vija and the rest of your family. I doubt if you can remember me, but my parents had much love and respect for the entire Liepa family which goes as far back as Latvia and the DP camps in Germany. My parents were so happy to celebrate Vija and Leon’s wedding. Now they are together again. May your memories give you peace and comfort. Brigita Ozolins
