Obituary of Sandra Kay Faught
Sandra “Sandy” Kay Faught, 69, of Greenwood, Indiana on the morning of August 21, 2023, passed away at University Hospital in Indianapolis, IN due to complications from surgery.
Sandy was born on March 21, 1954, in Montgomery, Alabama to Jerry and Marge Tyring. She was the second of four children: her older sister Angela, younger sister Belinda and younger brother Joseph.
She wed the love of her life, Thomas William Faught, on July 18, 1981, and remained married to him until his passing on June 4, 2021.
She is survived by her two daughters, Heather Utterback and Lindsey Albrecht, her sons-in-law Brandon Utterback and Bryan Albrecht, her granddaughter’s Yasmine and Isla Utterback, and Snow Albrecht, and her siblings Angela Garner and Joseph Tyring. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Faught, and her sister Belinda Frandsen.
Visitation will take place on Friday, September 1, 2023, at Steven’s Mortuary, 5520 W. 10 th Street, Indianapolis, Indiana 46224 from 9:30AM until 11:00AM. A funeral service will be held immediately follow at 11:00 AM. Burial at Calvary Cemetery will take place immediately following funeral services.
