Obituary of Christopher Mark Sercer

Christopher Mark Sercer, 63, of Plainfield, IN passed away in his home on Wednesday, August 16th.

Chris was born on June 23, 1960 to Paul and Mary (Milan) Sercer.  He graduated from Ben Davis High School in 1978. Chris went on to attend IUPUI where he received his associates degree. After graduating college Chris worked in the hydraulic and pneumatic industry for over 30 years in various positions. 

Chris is survived by his brother Mike Sercer, his sisters Valerie (Robert) Jones, Kimberly (Steve) Buchanan, sons Matthew (Christine) Sercer, Cory (Skyla) Sercer, and two grandchildren Blakely and Greyson. He is proceeded in death by his parents Paul and Mary sercer, brothers Scott and Brian Sercer, and his Love, Karla Young. 

A memorial mass will be held at St. Malachy Catholic Church on Thursday, August 31st at 10AM. A gathering of friends and family to take place immediately following at an off-site location. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the American Heart Association.
