Obituary of George Bryant Canada
George Bryant Canada, 73, of Indianapolis passed away on June 24, 2023. He was born in Norwich, CT on February 5, 1950 to Lester Robert and Lillian Arlene Canada. George served our country as a Spec 5 with the United States Army. He worked as a shop foreman for the aluminum fabricating company, Tuttle Aluminum & Bronze for 41 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and traveling. He also enjoyed watching NASCAR. George loved and cherished his grandkids, especially their annual traditions that they affectionately named, “Easter egg coloring with Papaw” and “Pumpkin Carving with Papaw”. George was preceded in death by his parents, Lester Robert and Lillian Arlene Canada; and sister, Mary Jane Wirey. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Vanessa Darlene Canada; son, Shane (Tara) Canada; daughter, Brandi Canada; grandchildren, Taylor (AJ), Maxwell, Mason, Morgan, Lindy and Roman Canada; and sisters, Laurie (Clif) Knight, , Jetty Spainhour and Betty (Steve) Williamson. The family kindly request that memorial contributions in honor of George be made to the Heart Association 7272 Greenville Ave Dallas, TX 75231 or heart.org.
