Obituary of Sharon Elizabeth Morgan
We are sad to announce the passing of our baby sister, Sharon E Morgan of Norman, In., formerly of Indianapolis, IN. She passed away peacefully in her sleep June 6, 2023, sometime in the night.
Sharon worked for Noble Industries in Indianapolis for 30 plus years doing piecework and housekeeping. Upon the passing of her parents, she moved to southern Indiana to live with a sister and continued her work at JDSI in Seymour, IN for an additional 2 years until covid forced her to stay home.
Sharon was a member of St. Gabriel Catholic Church, Indianapolis for many years. She enjoyed being in the choir and having many people there to talk to.
Her favorite things were her craft projects, camping, bowling, music, animals, and church activities including choir, plays, and bible study. She enjoyed following the NASCAR series to root for her favorite drivers, Rusty Wallace and Tony Stewart. She also enjoyed teasing her friends and family.
Sharon was an avid TV watcher. Her favorite shows included: Little House on the Prairie, The Walton’s, The Three Stooges, Sister Act, Alvin and the Chipmunks, Frozen and a few others.
She liked to go to the zoo, family reunions, fairs and festivals, shopping and outdoor concerts.
Her favorite foods included fried chicken, tacos, barbeque ribs, chocolate pop tarts, Oreo cookie ice cream and of course, frozen virgin margaritas.
Sharon is survived by 5 sisters and 1 brother, Theresa Brydon, Speedway, IN, Roxanna (Kenneth) Horton, Norman, IN, Vanessa Kestler, Speedway, IN, Jenifer (Mark) Koehler, Jackson MO. Dennis Morgan, Greenwood, IN, Angelia (Steve) Herring, Mooresville, IN and 55 nieces and nephews.

Sharon will be forever missed by her family and friends, but we will find comfort in knowing she is where she most wanted to be, rejoined with her “mommy” and dad.
She never ceased to remind everyone that she was her “mommy’s baby”.
