Obituary of Jane Louise Harmon

Jane Louise ‘Janie’ Howard age 75, passed away peacefully May 21, 2023. She was born August 9, 1947, in Indianapolis to Robert and Anne Howard.

Janie had the purest heart. She had so much love to give, and she gave it freely. An Aunt to many, a loving sister, daughter and grandmother-like figure in all our lives.

For many years Janie worked at Bell Telephone Company, until her retirement in 1986. She also loved to travel. Visiting national parks and making many trips out west with her cousins. Her real passion though was her family, at every family function, birthday, or holiday, she was there with her heart-warming smile. She never missed an opportunity to let you know she loved you. It’s that love that embraced all of us that we’ll be forever grateful for.

Janie is survived by her brother William Howard (Carol), Sister Patty Kessler (Dan), brother David Howard (Rose), sister Peggy Howard, brother Bob Howard and all her Nieces and Nephews whom she all loved so deeply.
