Brenda Kaye Williams

58, of Speedway, Ind., passed away peacefully at home under the care of her mother, Gloria, and son, Christopher on Thursday, March 2nd, 2023.  Born in Indianapolis, Indiana on March 8th, 1964, daughter of the late Harry D. Williams Jr. and Gloria Georgene (Branger) Williams.

Brenda graduated from Speedway High School, and later IUPUI with a degree in Hospitality Management. 

She was a mother to one, Christopher B. Williams, who would later become a music teacher. In her free time she enjoyed completing puzzles, watching television, and being present for her son’s activities. She loved movies and listening to music, as well as going out to eat with family. She fought and overcame a plethora of medical complications, but despite this raised a healthy son whom she was most proud of. She was most happy in the sunshine, under her blankets in bed, or doing anything involving her son.

She was preceded in death by her father, Harry II.  Survivors include her “darling” son, Christopher; Mother Gloria; siblings, Harry III, Steve, Craig, and Valerie.

Visitation will be from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM on Tuesday, March 7th, 2023 at Stevens Mortuary at 5520 W. 10th St, Indpls. A one hour memorial viewing and one hour memorial service will celebrate Brenda’s life 10:00 AM-12:00 PM on Brenda’s Birthday, March 8th, 2023 at Stevens Mortuary at 5520 W. 10th St, Indpls. After service, escort will transport Brenda to her final resting place, Crown Hill Cemetery at 700 38th St, Indianapolis, IN 46208
