My sisters, parents and I met Jack when our parents moved into the same facility. Dad is a Veteran, and several people commented that he and Jack would get along well. Of course they did... Jack was a man of character, patriotic, spoke proudly of his family and, even though he was limited physically, he was always looking for ways to help others.

Jack was often the first to call out answers to questions asked at church services. Just a few weeks before his passing, he led the room in an impromptu chorus of " God Bless America " and some heartfelt tears were shed.

Jack was a great guy, and we won't forget him.
